A fine example of renowned and accomplished artist Robin Hopper's pottery.
Robin Hopper (1939-2017) co-founded the Gallery “Chosin Pottery” with Judi Dyelle in Metchosin, B.C. in 1977 it is still going strong today.
Robin Hopper was a remarkable individual who, according to Wikipedia, was a “Canadian ceramist, teacher, author, garden designer and arts activist”.
A true collector's piece - a meticulously crafted covered pot with a wonderful, flowing design. The interior is a lovely soft blue gray color.
The pot is signed Robin Hopper Chosin Pottery Canada. There is also a mark of the artist's initials rh inside a circle.
The pot is 18.5 cm in diameter
Height including lid is 16.5 cm.
Pot without lid is 11 cm high.
The domed lid adds another 5.5 cm to the height.
The handle is 7.5 cm long.
