maggiek01 @raccoonlover720 Thanks, I just added some more photos which are probably going to throw you for a loop. I took photos on the model and mannequin, so you can see lighting really is different. When I use black dye, it always has undertones of different colors. Black dye is never completely black. I have some black dyes that have green blue undertones too.

maggiek01 @raccoonlover720 they are taken with 2 different cameras as well as being natural lighting vs inside but the cameras make a difference too

maggiek01 @raccoonlover720 Thank you for the compliment! Well the shorter caftans and the caftan tops may be a good alternative for you. I have some that are shirt length, and I have some that are 3/4 length that you can wear as a short dress or with pants or a maxi skirt, so the shorter lengths are very versatile. If that is something that interests you let me know and I will try to list some since I don't have those on here. But longer is more silk, so more expensive. Maybe the short would work for you!

maggiek01 @raccoonlover720 Thats funny I am the same way actually. I love long maxis and caftans they are really easy and look stunning with no effort. I love being able to wear sandals too and looking fab but feeling comfortable! I'm with ya girl! I am not making more caftans because my fabric store I was buying from is gone and my seamstress is about 80 and has retired so that is why its easier to buy and dye designer pieces. If there is one of these you like you can always put a deposit down
