@almondheart that’s on the waitlist, not the prepaid list (they’re completely different). when you’re on the former, you’re basically asking them to call you when something comes in, so of course there’s a huge waiting list bc that’s non-committal. but when you prepay, you’re actually having them submit an order for you to the workshop, where the bag will be shipped directly from. that list is a lot smaller.

@almondheart also the prepaid lists actually go by store! so if you pick a lower traffic store (say, a leased LV inside of a Bloomingdale’s), you’ll have a better chance of finding a list where you’re immediately the 3rd or 4th person. That’s what happened to me :)

@almondheart yes of course, I’m here to help :) prepaid list is actually when they charge your card right away, and then you wait until they call you. the store I chose (LV Bloomingdale’s at South Coast Plaza) called it their “workshop list,” charged my card the same day I called in and called me 3 weeks later to pick up the backpack. I suggest you find an LV store near you that’s a little lesser-known, tell them explicitly that you’d like to prepay and see what they say.

@almondheart hi! Just putting a response here. I was put on a waiting list, and the next day they received one. They told me at LV they receive these backpacks every single week. I got mine at the LV store at Bellagio, Las Vegas. They are not that hard to come by.
