blr108 @skewlpsych I cant find it. However, it may be possible to authenticate since the coin came from a member of the dive team working on salvaging the wreck with Bob (frog-foot) Weller & Mel Fisher in the mid 90’s who was a friend of the both. It is absolutely an original coin from the treasure salvaged.

goodthingsnow Are you the original owner? When was it purchased and where? Are you absolutely certain the coin is an authentic coin salvaged from the Atocha shipwreck (not a created one?)? Thanks so much!

blr108 @goodthingsnow Yes, I am positive it is an 100% authentic original coin from the Atocha wreck- NOT a copy or made with salvaged silver from the wreck. It was purchased along with several other coins by a salvage diver team employee working for Bob Weller during several summer months during 1992. I also have pictures of some treasure found that summer (this coin was. Purchased directly from Mel Fisher’s treasures and was mounted in gold by them as a pendant)

blr108 @goodthingsnow @goodthingsnow I have several books with personally addressed notes signed and dated by both Fisher and Weller as well of Photos of some of the dives and their findings as well as gatherings the teams had during that summer. I don’t want to post personal details on here but can provide it and it can be verified.
