❤️SOLD❤️ Antique Edwardian Sheer Cotton Embroidered Eyelet & Lace Bolero Shrug

Antique Edwardian/Victorian (approx. 1910) sheer cotton muslin bolero/capelet/shrug is perfect for the bride, boudoir, honeymoon or any other romantic occasion. Made of sheer cotton muslin, it features what is known as "white work", meaning this piece is made of white muslin and embellished with white thread decorative needle arts, including raised embroidery in a gently swirling paisley-esque floral design interspersed with eyelet holes. The entire capelet is trimmed with two layers of delicate lace: a scalloped embroidered flower trim over a gathered "crochet" type lace,. The muslin itself is very sheer and the entire effect is simple, elegant and romantic. This is in excellent vintage condition for it's age, with very light wear, a few very small holes and a tiny rust spot (see closeup pix) and highly wearable!
