Vintage SNAKE BELT — brass on leather

Flexible engineered brass segments in a Deco inspired snake-scale design securely attached to heavy leather strap made in Spain for Berdorf Goodman around 1980. This belt has been worn a lot but shows no signs of wear at all. Marked size ML, it measures 41” long with holes for hooking at one inch intervals from 31” to 35”. It looks best hooked at 31” or 32”to give a longer snake tail drop. Can be worn on waist through loops or low and slouchy. This belt will elevate any classic dress, tunic or top to the next level. Also works through loops on pants and skirts. The quality is superior to most things made today in like new condition.
