‼️Straight from the horse’s mouth regarding whether some of SkinCeuticals’ products are completely cellophane wrapped or not. I contacted them directly today (3/29) and as you can see through our chat, the answer is ‼️NO‼️ So any COMPLETELY CELLOPHANE WRAPPED/ FACTORY SEALED in PLASTIC/ SHRINK WRAPPED (even with an “official” looking holographic sticker) etc., products for sale are sadly c**nterf*it! The two, circular, clear stickers sealing the top & bottom of the box for a Full Size product are the norm as far as being “sealed”. I have seen their triple lipid restore Sample (in a small box) plastic wrapped directly from them-but that was a Sample only! Please be careful everyone!! SPREAD the Word!! Another red flag 🚩is super cheap pricing and tons of the same product!

@bethejoy copying you because I saw you had also noted this on a seller’s page who has SkinCeuticals products and they are all cellophane wrapped. Don’t know how they are still able to sell! Makes me wonder if “reporting” listings does any help! Guess if this post helps one unsuspecting buyer it’s worth it!!

@bjjrocks86 be careful. Any skinceuticals’ products that are completely cellophane wrapped are counterfeit-see this post and my other skinceuticals post. Trying to give you a heads up. The person you were going to purchase from sells other fraudulent items as well sadly.

If you happen to see Skinceuticals age interrupter or Skinmedica TNS advanced + serum that is legit plz let me know! What if something went really wrong with the knock-off product? Someone got sick, scarred or ....... I These people, like Animal Abusers, only see the $$$$ mark! Sad and Very Sick. ): Well, they have to live with it., right?

@bjjrocks86 will do -I’ll keep my eye out for you ❤️. These scammers are extremely vile & obviously have no concern or remorse if they injure another human. What I see happening is if a closet gets too many complaints, Posh may put their closet on a temporary ban or can shut them down completely. But some of the deceitful sellers can just make a new account. Unsuspecting buyers who buy the counterfeit products can get chemical burns, allergic reactions, scarring, sores & who knows what else.

@bjjrocks86 I have been seeing counterfeit Rodin & Fields lash serum (a lot these sellers have fake skinceuticals as well) which is going on your lash line!! How potentially awful that could be?!?! I feel bad for the buyers that unknowingly purchase these skincare & lash serums (that still aren’t cheap!) & use them and have horrible reactions & can’t figure out why

@bjjrocks86 That’s why I try to copy people on posts like this if I see they had made comments about purchasing on a counterfeit listings. Even when we flag these listings as counterfeit, they don’t always get taken down, unless they get enough complaints. Sad things is a lot of people don’t even know!! And the counterfeit products are looking more like real thing. Let’s just hope karma gets them, or better yet, get dragged into a nice, fat law suite!!

Yep, wishing for a Huge Incident (without harmful outcomes) and a VERY Expensive PayBack! With all the dirty details! It is unfair to the legit sellers who happen to have access to high-end merchandise! I now send a message to the seller asking nicely, if the product/s are authentic! So far, none of them have replied! YIKES!

So I just purchased what must be counterfeit SC items based on what I am reading here from @avella693 and @beautyspotin and I want to vomit. Both are wrapped and have that holograph circle on them. I did message and ask for proof of purchase.

@slecrone3 I believe if you look under your purchases, find the product you’re talking about and hit the problem/inquiry button. Then you’re going to just state your claim and you can even include the pictures that I have which is from the Skinceuticals rep that states they don’t wrap their products. You just want to have as many facts and pics to back up your claim that the product is counterfeit and you were not putting an unknown substance on your face that may be harmful.

@slecrone3 You can send them screenshots of the conversation that I had with this Skinceuticals rep and also screenshots from the other peoples postings you had mentioned. Take pictures of the counterfeit product you have to show them the product you received is counterfeit and you want a refund ASAP. They may have you send the product back to the seller and email you a postage-paid shipping label to return it to them

@slecrone3 Either way, right now, whatever you do DO not hit accept the product and start your problem/inquiry and state your case right away. With lots of pics attached. You should not have an issue, and I have helped other people in the past by giving these similar instructions and Poshmark took care of it right away as long as it wasn’t accepted.
