Sin City is a 2005 American neo-noir crime anthology film produced and directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez. It is based on Miller's eponymous graphic novel. Much of the plot is based on Miller's original comic series' first, third, and fourth books. The Hard Goodbye is about an ex-convict who goes on a rampage to find the killer of his one-time sweetheart. The Big Fat Kill follows a private investigator[5] who becomes involved in a street war between a group of prostitutes and mercenaries, as well as the police and the mob. That Yellow Bastard is about an aging cop who saves a young woman from a grotesquely disfigured serial killer.
