THIS VERY FINE CHOCOLATE-BROWN OFF-THE-SHOULDER 100% SILK (POLYESTER LINING) FIT-AND-FLARE PARTY DRESS BY J. CREW, SIZE 2, is pre-owned, but in near-perfect condition, free of defects or damage, with no signs of wear. It consists of a close-fitting off-the-shoulder strapless bodice joined to a flaring knee-length skirt. The lower part of the bodice is a horizontally pleated cummerbund, and the bottom 6.5 inches of the skirt is a series of overlapping layers mirroring the horizontal pleating of the cummerbund - very elegant! The bodice has stretchy elastic around the neckline to ensure a secure fit. Ruching at the cummerbund's lower seam creates pleating in the upper part of the skirt. It closes with a clasp and zipper in back. The 100% silk outer shell is semi-sheer (picture #9), and it's fully lined in glossy chocolate-brown polyester (picture #10). The stated size is 2, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a dress that they know fits well prior to purchase. Measurements are: chest, pit to pit 14.5", stretches to about 15.5"; waist 13.5"; hemline 30"; length (in back, neckline to hem) 30.75".
