THIS LOVELY 100% SILK (POLYESTER LINING) 2-PIECE SUIT, JACKET AND COMPLEMENTARY SKIRT, BY DAVID WARREN NEW YORK, SIZE 12, is pre-owned, an estate-sale purchase, but apparently unworn, in near-perfect condition, free of defects or damage, with no signs of wear. The skirt has 2 original tags attached (pictures #12 & 13). The jacket has notched sleeve ends, padded shoulders, a collar and lapels, a sash at the waist, a 3-button closure in front, and a pattern of polka dots in various sizes in medium brown on a beige background. The skirt is slim-line (pencil), in the same shade of warm medium brown as the polka dots of the jacket. It closes with a clasp and zipper on the left side, and has a double ruffled hemline created by a 4" attachment to the lining that extends past the hem of the outer shell. Each piece is fully lined in glossy brown 100% polyester fabric. The outer fabric is 100% silk, dry clean only recommended. The stated size is 12, but prospective buyers are encouraged to compare the measurements with those of a jacket and skirt that they know fit well prior to purchase. Measurements for the jacket are: chest, pit to pit 19.75"; waist 17"; hemline 18.25"; shoulder 17.5"; sleeve 19"; length (in back, collar seam to hem) 23.75". Measurements for the skirt are: waist 15.5"; hips 21.5"; hemline 26"; length (side seam) 25.5".
