SHE&IN Block heel shoes EU 40 US 9

Got these gorgeous shoes. They are a US 9 but are too snug for me. I hate to give them up but I cannot wear them. I would think they would fit a size 8-8.5 but the are EU 40 which is size 9. My feet must be too wide
