Hi Posh Peeps - I just LOVE sequins! When shopping for a particular brand of sequin purse, I ALWAYS have to do a TWO part search. The first is using the correct word, "sequin", which means "a small, shiny disk sewn as one of many for decoration. The other search is for the commonly misused word "SEQUENCE" which means to "arrange in a particular order". I hope you all have a wonderful day!

single9 Yay you.....I am so glad for all the definitions....I searched one day for sequins and then, just for the heck of it, searched for sequence....there were about the same number of listings for each....blew my mind!

mama_magnolia LMAO! Thank you!!! I see that word misspelled (as "sequence") about 95% of the time! Ugh! I even saw a listing on a FB town sale/swap site & the person selling her daughter's prom dress is a lawyer (I've known her for years)...well, she is very intelligent, but spelled the word as "sequence"...ARRGHHHHH! C'mon people, it's NOT that hard! (Sorry, rant over. Just such a pet peeve of mine).

hquenault @onthewater Holy cow! Thank you for that amazing order!!! What’s listed is only like 20% of what I own. I have about 40 HUGE bins filled with bags, jewelry, makeup & clothes. amourdechakra L💗VE!!! Oh the madness i find in listings! THIS is one of my top 2 worst pet peves! My other? Listings describing a boat neck style or a drop waist ( like the roaring 20's iconic dresses, my ultimate faves.. So it killllllz me!) and they aren't even CLOSE! 😂

hquenault @lakeforest I do! The funniest one I’ve experienced was while shopping in Pier 1. The girl at the register was explaining to someone what potpourri was and she kept pronouncing it as “pot pour e”. I told her it was pronounced “po pour E” and she gave me the evil eye. Ha!

lakeforest Are you kidding me? That’s crazy! I’m a child of the 60’s and the younger population of today doesn’t read anymore. The advent of our current technology hasn’t helped either. I’m not saying they’ve all been affected but it is quite apparent now....

hquenault @lakeforest That happened like 25 years ago (damn - it feels like yesterday). But I agree regarding the lack of reading and tech overload. Some of my happiest memories are of my uncle sending me a case of books every month when I was a kid. It was the early 70’s and he worked for Scholastic. It was like Christmas once a month. Bliss!

hquenault @melisssaweeks Hey - I hope you won’t mind me giving you a suggestion...I was searching for beaded purses and your listing for a Corey Bead Purse appeared. The listing photo was of the inside of the bag, not the outside. The only reason someone would click on it would be just for curiosity. In all of the other photos, not one showed the entire bag. gina_faerie I'm starting to wonder how much I hate I would get for going to every listing where it is used improperly and commenting just "sequins". I couldn't believe it the first time I saw it.
