SCHAFER&SON SS51 make in 1989) with Schafer & Sons still remaining a family business run by Vernon Schafer and his sons Vernon Jr., Charles, James, Weston, Ruston and Duston. From 2005 onward, most pianos were then assembled in China with parts from around the world. Schafer & Sons pianos were discontinued shortly after Vernon Schafer passed away in 2014, and his sons selling new and used pianos made by several manufacturers, but Schafer & Sons pianos were no longer made or sold!!!!
