jmevitali @atractivowear the problem was people were hearing about it and some of us were seeing it. some of us started stalker the scammers and warning people and reporting them. but another posher had it happened and posted this so we are all trying to share it.

buy24me @cindy23sherman I went and found examples that were. Scam accounts and took screenshots of them and added it like a regular listing. Wow, they sent you a rope?!😔 I hope you got your $ back! Did they shut down their account or is it still up?

cindy23sherman @buy24me yes stupid little rope bracelet that probably cost a dollar I did get my money back but it wasn’t easy. They shut down the account and the guy just keeps opening up in different names! Thank you for your help I am definitely going to post the picture of my label and what they sent in the package. These people are disgusting!

buy24me @cindy23sherman Yep, they just keep creating new accts when they get caught. A lot of people don’t know that these scammers have lots of accounts! I saw two yesterday in a matter of minutes and each of them had 20+ accounts! Thats only what I noticed in minutes! And all they did was add a different number to the end if their name like Benjamin121, the 122, 142. Ugh! It made me sick to my stomach! Talk about obvious.

buy24me @nay0333 That’s good! Yes, I agree. I always try to provide as much info as possible. I don’t want anyone to have any doubts. I would expect this others to don the same but I know it doesn’t always happen. But these fake closets and scammers purposely makes you believe everything is authentic. I hate seeing scammers post 100% authentic & money back guarantee. How do they sleep at night!

buy24me @nay0333 Yep, that is exactly how we all feel. This is way bigger than we can handle and its flooded and out of control. We have all done what we can. Can’t spend all our time on this any longer and it’s just gotten worse. I had this alert on my page and come to find out, they removed it yesterday😩 Someone tagged pm editor & ceo and copyright at Posh so guessing they took it down asap😞

buy24me @jmevitali @nay0333 They don’t see it that way😔 I guess they don’t want us to call out anyone even if they are violating the rules and prefers us to just report it and let them do their job. But they are obviously taking their time on this and not moving fast enough. There are listings that were reported three weeks ago and all this up. They need to seriously hire an army to move more quickly on this.

buy24me @jmevitali Yes, that is how I feel. We tried our best and spent all hours of the day for at least the past 10 days reporting and warning others. We can only do so much. This is way bigger than anything we can do. We have done more than our share.

jmevitali @amarti75 just keep in mind anything over 500$you are covered. anything under if the person is a long time posher with good reviews you are usually safe but always video yourself opening the box for proof of what you received in case you have to return it.

lcm1717 I bought a pair of GG socks and after purchased had a werid feeling because they accepted an extremely low offer right away. I checked out their page and of course it was not legit. the only listing they had was the one pair of socks and no info. I called them out on the listing, listing disappeared immediately, I had no way to contact. I emailed Posh to cxl order, after an "investigation" said there was tech issues with the account and my order was fine. What?! lol Well it's on it's way!

lcm1717 One of my first purchases was a chambray top, in the description said "factory wear" I did know to ask questions and the shirt arrived with 3 holes that were attempted to be sewn together using unmatching thread. I was refused a return after opening a case with legitimate pics. Look so bad I couldn't even donate! So ask questions guys!

jmevitali @lcm1717 yeah I'm with you. ask questions and always check love notes to make sure the seller has a history of actually sending stuff they sell. also if you do receive a order that you love Don't just 5 star it. write something because if you only 5 ⭐ it without a comment it won't show up.

days_treasures I wish people would understand if it’s too good to be true it probably is ! These fake accounts are Easy to spot they typically list brand new luxury items under $500 so the item doesn’t have to be sent to posh for authentication… as a posh user they usually follow nobody and have 0 shares. Every time I see one I report to posh but not sure how fast they take them down!

Every time I see a spam comment you know the ones I’m talking about 😆 I always report the comment twice, one for “Spam” and then for “Transaction off of Poshmark”; then I go to the actual account and I report the user the same way… But taking peoples money like this??? That is just next level corruption!
