Has anybody been through a similar scam? I ordered a blue north face coat and I got a notification from USPS that my package arrived I checked my mail and what was supposed to be a coat was a white no show pair of socks, I don’t want to look like one of the fraud buys on this app I just want my money back.

retrostylez I just filed a claim today for the same thing. the same people open 4-5 accts every day. they only sell a couple on each one. the package had an altered label to look like an amazon package. if you file a claim mention my username to customer service. I will back your claim up as they pulled the same crap with me.

retrostylez @blazethompson51 they photoshop it. the top part of the label is a poshmark label. you can tell because it is a 5lb label. the area code on the top part doesnt match the return address on the middle part. they ship from industry ca but the return label says charlotte nc. they then remove the numbers of the tracking number to make it harder for the buyer to figure it out.

retrostylez the way the scam works is that when a buyer files a lost item claim poshmark will just call it a loss and refund the buyer and let the seller keep the profit. they are smart as they only do it a couple times on 1 acct. what's sad is that poshmark does not have any system in place to catch their IP address or their use of the same bank accts.

annagarde @blazethompson51 Reply back to Poshmark and use your closet name, same claim # and be sure tell them you never received the item you purchased. Explain it exactly as here. I will tell you this— when someone follows me with a username that looks like that, I block immediately. It has scam written all over it. They follow late at night. Don’t feel bad about it, it’s widespread. Poshmark is really good about this kind of thing just takes a few days. Best of luck!
