SALVOR Projects
Neon Pink Victorian Retro Dancer Tank Dress
Size 7 - 8
Out of Print
This unusual dress was created by SALVOR PROJECTS from NYC industrial designer turned fashion designer Ross Menuez. He's father of model/actress Bobbi Salvor Menuez. Perhaps he was inspired by Bobbi (they identified as India then) when he created this dress some decades ago. Salvor Projects is the same buzzy studio that gave us those amazing wildlife pillows. Pic posted to jog memory only and not for sale here. This is that Ross Menuez. That Salvor is this Salvor. Salvor Projects also released a cultishly popular line of printed jersey dresses, atmospheric scarves that India/Bobbi modeled, and tees and tanks that sold at stores like Barneys and Dover Street Market. Now that you know...
This is the softest cream cotton with a neon pink silkscreened dancing Victorian lady in a ballgown with big blossoms. So charming. Slim cut that allows for extended wear. It will just be shorter or longer depending on your child's height. Excellent condition on this Salvor dress.
Bad news: Salvor Projects on the Lower East Side shuttered their doors some years ago so it's hard to find their items for sale new anymore. Good news: I bought a lot of Salvor Projects' stuff. I will eventually be listing the wonderful animal kids and adults T-shirts in the softest cotton. For some reason they were marketed as boys' tees, but my girls adored them. I have to find them first. Sigh. See other vintage stuff listed.
