SALE Vintage 1970 Era Country Style Gingham Garden Party Prom Dress

SALE! Cutest Ever 1970 era country style prom dress in flounces of cotton gingham. Absolutely perfect for a spring/summer garden party or wedding in addition to its original purpose. An attending note says "Carole prom dress Jr. yr in high school 1971." The gingham bands are in pink, green and purple. The high pointed collar is in purple as are the snap close cuffs on the 25" long pink sleeves. The bodice is pink with decorative purple gingham buttons down the front. The 3 1/2" pleated cummerbund is in green. The skirt has 3 flounces alternating from pink to green to purple. The back has 23" zipper. We believe this to be home tailored. Size: no size label--31" bust; 27" waist; 13" across back; 14 1/2" shoulder to waist; 55 1/2" long to taped hem. Note we could not close the back zipper on the model (see pic) Condition: very good vintage, no holes, no stains. Note-the back has zipper and hook & eyes.
