SALE Sophisticated Vintage Cocktail Dress Lace & Taffeta

SALE Sophisticated vintage cocktail or special event dress. It has a drop waist decorated with a black taffeta 4" peplum finished with a front bow. But attention is drawn to the bodice which is black lace over copper taffeta. The long sleeves are sheer lace. The skirt is softly pleated. A thin black band finishes the jewel neckline and the edge of the sleeves. The shoulders are padded. The style is a throw back to the lace trimmed dresses of the '50s, but we think this is later, perhaps to the '80s/'90s. There is no maker label to assist us in determining era. Size: size label says 15--36" bust; 30" at natural waist; 35" hip; 19 1/2" shoulder to drop waist; 14" across back; 22" sleeves; 18" back metal zipper; 47 1/2" long to turn under hem.
