libbychai @ponfar OK I searched online and I think a French 38 is approx size 6 in US. I'll compare these measurements to other size 6 and 8 dresses and I'll fix the sizing according to what matches best .

mrscatwomen Hi, I would like to understand correctly the alterations that were done. Please advise me if I understand this correctly in photo 4 of your listing, is it the top flap you are referring to or what's underneath the top flap, above the seam that the flap meets when closed. If I were to remove the alterations, snaps and fabric in back, will any stitch holes show on the garment outside when wearing? I'm also curious to know what material the dress is made from, cotton silk, linen etc. thank you
