This dress is off the shoulders but is constructed with elasticized straps underneath the shoulder which helps the dress stay in place. This is a brilliant way to make these dresses in my experience ! The ruching is gorgeous and flattering. I wore this dress one time to a ballet holiday dinner dance. I luv, luv this dress and wish that it still fit. I hope that someone else can enjoy wearing it.
