SALE Perfect for a formal event--an Alex Evenings sheath and jacket from the late 20th century. Black velvet is well-represented. The addition of gold tone sequins & beads as a floral band on the front of the jacket gives the proper degree of glam. The jacket is short at 20" long at the back and 16 1/2" at the curved front. It has 23 1/2" long sleeves. It has the large shoulder pads typical of the '80s and early '90s. The dress has a gold cord edged, modified sweetheart neckline, squared at the back. Straps are 2 x 16 1/2" with a fall of 10 1/2" from the nape to the start of the 16" nylon zipper. Dress is 41" long to 1 1/2" hem The tags advise for both pieces that content is 100% acetate for the "velvet" and 100% rayon for the lining. Made in USA, dry clean only.
