kymschubert @ari9590 small is approximately 19.5" and Medium is approximately 21" ...it does have slight "give" due to the pleats on front of dress 😊

kymschubert @gigi11155 🤷🏼‍♀️ That's the medium flat (approximate) pit to pit measurement...lol, but this dress is a flowy style and fits nice in the arms without a lot of sag on me...but plenty of room in the bust area if that makes sense 😉🤣
