SALE Amazing Pair of Edwardian Era Ladies Shoes. In off-white leather--so soft we are tempted to call it kid leather. The pointed toes have a cream tone silk bows with silver tone filigree buckle. The centers are shaved "beads" in sparkly black. The strap closes with a white button. The heels are 2" high. These may have been wedding shoes. Although some of the attributes share style features of the '20s/'30s, a small faded paper tag on the inside says "Thompson 1907." These are a deaccession item from a small midwestern museum, so we assume the tag is an indication of provenance. Please note condition report below
Size: 2 7/8" instep; 11 1/2" outside length toe to heel.
Condition: good-fair antique condition. Note-silk on bows are frayed and mostly disintegrated on the left. There is staining or scuffing on the uppers to a mild degree, more noticeable on heels (see pics). The soles show mild signs of wear. We would recommend these for display.
