S. Agudo Patent Floral Sculpture Smoking Ash Holders

You are sitting at a party and someone removes a petal from this gorgeous centerpiece, flips it over and taps their cigarette ash into it. Your initial reaction is horrified only to learn that this guest was using this decorative sculpture as the designer intended. In fact, the center serves as a candle holder to light cigarettes. Created with a stem, leaves and floral base and 6 removable petals that can be used as individual ashtrays. These pieces provide 3 decorative possibilities: the base; the base with 6 petals as an open bloom; or the base with 5 petals upside down when the flower closes at night, all options shown in photos. The metals are believed to be silver-plated with brass stamen and pistil. The underside of one of the leaves is signed S. Agudo PATENT.
