They don't really disallow trades, but they discourage them and do not "support" them if issues arise. You may want to reference @official_forum for loads of information about Posh. tezza630 @emjhere - hi Erin - You're welcome. I think it has to do more with USPS regulations about aerosols and such. I think that is why so many online companies (e.g. Sephora) ship by UPS instead. I'm working on dropping some pounds this year - I've added too many over the past couple of years (believe me when i say it - menopause sucks! However, you may want to remove the "imitation Prada crocodile bag" because Posh considers knock-offs and imitations to be non-supported and prohibited items as they are in fact illegal. You can see in the second photo of my post here a list of some of these types of items - part of the reason is that they cannot be shipped via US mail. I realize you are very new & may not be aware of the rules that Posh has about listings. Men's items & used/swatched makeup are not allowed. tezza630 @carmaldove - yes, I know,, & you're right. I think Posh tries to stay ahead of it & will alert sellers when they are posting prohibited items. Other sellers can also report another seller's prohibited item (on the app, you go to the arrow in the upper right corner & can report a listing). My understanding is that they are working on an app for men's products. I do understand about the items that aren't allowed by USPS. 💚😽

I mentioned it to her, never heard from her, and the purse is still there. I do occasionally report items as non-compliant, but not always. Depends what it is. And their overall closet. Have a good day! Got lots of snow up there? We have had none - one day with a few flurries, that's it. Yay!!!! 💚😽

It's fairly easy to do. I have an account, but I created some pics without having one - I just create it first, then do a screen shot of it and edit the junk out of it. (If that makes sense??) As to this person who got upset with you, it's unfortunate that she did not take your suggestion kindly & with appreciation. I made this posting partly so that I could alert poshers about my rules but also as a place to "call them out" if I see something in their closet. That way, it is not on their listing & doesn't "embarrass" them if others see it. (Cont. Below)

tezza630 @janine_e - In cases like the one you mentioned, although she may have been trying to be polite - by saying thank you with a :) smile - it was nonetheless rude. In that case, I block that person from my closet - and I report the listings. (Do you know how to do that?) I try to be polite, which I'm sure you were, and just let them know about the posh rules. I check the date that they started on posh & if they are quite new, I mention that they may not be aware. (cont)

If they do not respond kindly, then I can say I tried & I leave the rest up to posh. lmk if you have other concerns. 💚😽 tari - and p.s. If I do report an offensive item, I will sometimes do a screen shot of it & check back later in their closet to see if it has been removed. (It may take a bit for posh to respond).

I prefer not to report people before I give them an opportunity to see the rules, but if they have tens of thousands of followers, they most likely know the rules. It's very time consuming to keep an eye on all of it and it's making it less fun for me.

I'm unsure of whether to just tag someone in my rules post, as I did, if I see items that are not compliant, or report them or just pass over them and go to the next person. I get annoyed too & it is hard to eep up - that's partly Posh's fault for not having a bit more user friendly platform, but I'm sure they are a work in progress. I don't report until I have given someone a chance - depends on the item & how long they have been on Posh, for sure. One item usually does not hurt them - Posh just asks them to remove it. I hope this won't be a reason for you to leave Posh. I'd miss you! 💚😽

There are definitely hundreds (thousands?) of non compliant posts & Posh does indeed take their 20% off of them - I think that they try to keep track of them, but of course, it is surely overwhelming as Posh has grown so large! The items to avoid are nail polish, opened/used cosmetics, perfume and liquids (USPS won't allow them), men/kids' items, electronics, "home" items. tezza630 @annalayne - I do have a suggestion for some of your items - a bit more description may be helpful e.g. Fabric content, if leather is real or faux, purse dimensions. Admittedly, I probably go overboard in my descriptions, but for your protection and the buyer's, more is more. Be sure to point out flaws if there are any, You'll be surprised at how some things can come back to bite you - and yes, they should ask questions too, but some do not. LMK if you need any more info. warrior04 As far as I can see, she announced her party 2 hours ago and that camera listing was updated 1 day ago, does that mean that she uploaded that camera listing right before she was notified that she was accepted as a host. So if she was already approved then there may have been several days that lapsed after PM had checked her closet, then she uploaded that non compliant listing. To be continued @tezza630

tezza630 @lulubellsan 💚💚💚💚💚💚 this is one of my “bookmark” posts…. i do have others but they have reached the max limit of comments so although you could still like the post, it cannot accept comments (and thus i could not tag you). I believe the max is 600 comments. might be 500?? One of my posts that is maxed out is the “if i had a british accent post”. Actually, i need to create a new one and update, lol! This is a good reminder for me! xx
