Missed the return window on these, waiting to try a size up. Love them so so much and keeping the size 1 :) I’m more a 26-27 waist and the 1 definitely fit me better. I think 24-25 or 25-26 would be fine in these. I think these are sold out online now.

lmatherne Hi! Could you provide the actual waist measurement lying flat?

meredy59 @lmatherne they are 12 inches flat, fabric isn’t stiff and stretches up to 13 inches if I pull tight. I think a 24-25 waist would most comfortable. 13 inch rise, hitting pretty high waist.

lmatherne @meredy59 thank you! I’m usually a 0 in RJ but every now and then 0s are too small. I’ve actually ordered these in a 0 and returned them because they were too snug, but sometimes RJ sizing is inconsistent so i thought I’d check!

meredy59 @lmatherne oh yea you never know! I thought these were true to size. I normally wear a 1 and downsized because the Sal trousers ran a full size too big. These did not :/ the 1 was much better for me.

pippam hi, there is no way i would fit in a zero but what clothing size are you generally... im finding the 2 in utilities are too big and the 1 's i had in the denim ( years ago) were so tight! im genrally a 26/27 in jean but hips 38! do you think id be ok in the RJ 1 or would i need to size up? thanks for any tips!:)

meredy59 @pippam oh for jeans or shorts?? I’m pretty consistently a size 1 but I wish the waist on indigo was .5 to 1 inch bigger. The hips and thighs on the 1 fit great, it’s just the waist for me that would be more comfortable slight bigger. But these shorts fit me great in a 1.

meredy59 @rubyraeh I bought two sizes! Kept the 1. I can fit in the 0 it’s just tight in the waist. If you thought the 1 was too big, the 0 might work well!

pippam @meredy59 these shorts... i have Rj utilites in 2 and they are too big but the 1's had a while bad were so uncomfortable i sold them! just curious how this style ( the flax shorts ) come up xxx

meredy59 @pippam I would a do a 1 in these. I find them a bit more relaxed in waist than the utility. It’s just the fabric is lighter and more forgiving than denim
