The owners mother was gifted this, and then years later she brought home her baby wrapped up in this piece. This piano shawl is 25” laying flat - 32” lightly stretched, 91” long. Very flexible material. There are some very minor tears that are pictured on one end. They could be mended if you wished. It is spectacular in person and will have unbelievable shine on stage or in photos or walking across the room. These piano shawls were commissioned by wealthy tourists who visited Egypt on the Nile river on riverboat cruises after the discovery of King Tut's tomb. Only the very well to do could afford to have one of these made and they sometimes took years to complete.
