Set of 2 Royal Worcester Evesham Gold Pattern Ramekins with Undertray. Circa: 1961 – 2015. Royal Worcester’s Evesham Gold Pattern was introduced in 1961 as the beginning of a new trend for more informal dining that was to bring the humble casserole dish from the kitchen to the dining table. Evesham, named after the local fruit-growing region near Worcester, was Royal Worcester’s best-selling brand of the late 20th century. The Ramekins measure approx. 3 ¼” Diameter x 1 ¾” H. They feature blackberries and tan colored leaves. They are backstamped. There is a bit of wear of the gold on the rims. Each has a capacity of 4 oz. (1/2 cup). The handled Underplate measures approx. 9” handle-handle x 4 ¼” W x ¾” H. There is no maker indicated on the underside. Overall this set is in excellent vintage condition!
