Royal Doulton ‘Top O The Hill’ 1937 Figurine

A vintage hand painted porcelain figurine of “Top O’ the Hill” by Royal Doulton, England. Excellent condition, measures 7-1/2”H Top O’ the Hill is Royal Doulton's most iconic figure. She is more recognizable as she appeared in many of Doulton's exhibitions was designed by L. Harradine in 1937, Doulton’s figure was based on a picture by Molly Benatar (illustrated) whose rights for reproduction in china were bought exclusively by Doulton. A nice addition for a Royal Doulton collector.
