Round Vintage Medal Pendant of Star Shield

Three layer goldtone alloy metal pendant with blue enamel, red enamel & gold designs of a star with a shield. Seems to appear to be an award medal, perhaps Club membership/Order or military symbol, possibly a religious cross... This is hanging on an oversized, chunky, distressed gold colored chain.
