For many uses, can hold a towel in your bathroom or kitchen, napkin holder, letter holder or will hold several books. Measures - Approx 5" tall and 4.5" deep - The opening area is 4" so can roll up a couple hand towels for the bathroom or kitchen towels, will hold quite a lot of napkins, I even rolled a bathtowel and it fit in the open area. I have also used it for a few books in our guest room. Since moving, I no longer have a guest bed and bathroom to use it. Very good condition and always got so many comments about how adorable it is. Made of some sort of metal. Very whimsical and fun!!
