Romantic 1950s gauzy cotton summer dress with double bows 🎀

Bust 33” Waist 24” Hips free Length 44” with 1” seam allowance If you love bows like I do, this dress is a must have! The double bow detailing make this dress just so cute. Originally purchased from Dear Golden, this dress was lovingly homemade in the 1950s and is in wonderful condition. It’s made of a very light, semi transparent woven fabric made of red and blue threads, so it looks mauve-y purple with red and blue highlights — very subtle and beautiful! It has an inverted V pleat system the front and a very full skirt, with crisp white detailing. Condition: excellent. One yellow-brown mark on bodice ties that can be hidden in the bow, or spot treated. Belt loops but no belt, and one belt loop is just a couple threads. Fabric everywhere is strong with no rips, snags, stains, fading or other issues. Semi sheer fabric requires a slip. The perfect airy summer dress!
