aspurge @jennybeesknees I looked over the jeans and there aren’t any loose threads. I added a picture of the zipper area that you had a question about.

jennybeesknees @aspurge thank you so much for doing that! it's just the design of the stitching that made it look like loose thread from a distance. I will likely still buy these but need to wait on two others I made offers on to see if the sellers accept or decline.
