Robert Hall
Original Signed + Framed Drawing Titled "Curing Tobacco"Dated 1989
Sourced Location: North Carolina
This piece features a man kneeling down to tend to the fire while the tobacco cures on the wooden rack near the building. The smoke from the fire is almost magical as it floats above the work donkey and the building. The tree is grand and shades the building. It is a pen and ink drawing that is filled in with soft pastel pencil according to the Certificate of Authenticity that is on the back if the frame. It is both signed on the drawing and COA by the artist. A prolific African American artist who lives in North Carolina.
Frame ConditionThere are a few dents and scuffs on the wooden frame but nothing too distracting. I have taken close ups of the scuffs. The Certificate of Authenticity is attached to the back of the frame. Frame Size 25" H x 31" L
Drawing ConditionThe drawing is in good shape and still vibrant with color. Please see pictures for detail. No obvious damage that I could see. Visible Art Size 16.25" H x 22.25" L
Please note that color may vary a small amount because of my lighting. If you have questions please ask and I would be happy to help! -Michelle
