'Roaring' babydoll dress with beaded bust and cap sleeves

Not your typical 1920's inspired get-up, but definitely fits that era of vintage style! Darling babydoll cut ... dramatized with wispy texture of silk chiffon, stripes of black velvet alternating with zig zagged rows of small shiny black beads sewn across the bust and cap sleeves. Lower half/ skirt of dress is slightly ruched along bottom of bust and the silk chiffon falls delicately just above the knee. A separate second layer of flat chiffon lines the skirt adding just enough fullness under the the ruching of top layer and protection from the semi- translucent thinness of fabric. Tag reads size 36 ... fits like a SMALL! This dress was purchased approx 12 years ago by my sister for one of her high school formals. A few years later, I wore it for a small New Years Eve party. Unfortunately, this dress has sat with other formal wear at the far end of my closet ever since. Due to its aesthetic as well as its age, this piece looks and feels vintage; however, it boasts quality construction and design that is fully functional and has held up well. Minimal "dinginess" of black fabric; no holes, rips, or tears!
