Ripped jean shorts

While these are cute as can be, they are just way too small for me. The website I bought them from called these a large (my usual size is medium but I went with large because of the measurements), but they still just don’t give me enough room. They’re 39.4 inches around the hips and 31.5 inches around the waist. Would be perfect for someone who has a smaller waist/hips.
