jlbkroxx Very interested in this dress. I am street size 8/10. Would you mind sharing your hip width? I know the waist and bust are adjustable with the corset.

whit3g @jlbkroxx Hi! I measured the width in the hips just below the corset lace and it’s 19.5”/20” wide.

whit3g @jennykirklan736 it’s the widest part that’s fitted. Does that make sense? It’s fitted down to my hips(bottom of the corset) and then flares out from there. If there’s any other measurements you’d like I’m happy to take them!

jlbkroxx @whit3g seems like the maggie sottero measurements for an 8 would work for me...you seem so much thinner than me in your photos?! Your pics look like you might be a 4 or a 6. What dress size do you wear in street clothes? Do you mind sharing the bra size you were wearing around that time? Could you measure the width of the bust line, the smallest part of the waist (both with the corset tightened as much as it can) and length from top of bust line to the hem at the bottom.

whit3g @jlbkroxx lol well thanks! The dress must be flattering and slimming 😂. I’m an 8/10 street clothes as well. I’m on the taller side, 5’7”. I was 155lbs when I wore that. My bust at the time was 36B. It has a thick cup liner sewn in that can be easily taken out. And if I remember correctly I did have it tailored around the waist through hips but very minimally. I have a very square shaped torso. Wide ribs.

whit3g @jlbkroxx top to the bottom part of the train is 96”. Top to bottom in front is roughly 56”. I see where they hemmed. It’s the piece behind the corset. Has a button that can easily be moved which will give 2-3” to work with. I’ll add a picture to the post so you can understand what I’m talking about. I’d say it’s all true to the sizing chart! I tried it on just now. It fits but I’d have to let out the corset part about an inch.

whit3g @jlbkroxx the bust is 31” with the corset at its tightest. 35” at its widest. Could go to 37” at the bust with the hem behind the corset moved. Waist is 27” at its tightest. 30” with a loose corset. Hips are 38” at its tightest and 40” loose corset.
