This is a very rare set of Richard Meier salad servers in stainless steel and cloisonné. A sought after and significant design by Meier for Swid Powell. Produced by Reed & Barton. Made in Japan. These were produced in 1989 in very LIMITED quantities, in part due to the delicate nature of the black epoxy insets.
Dimensions: Fork is 12 ¾” long x 1” wide, spoon is 12” long x 2 ¼” wide.
Condition: some light scratches and wear consistent with its age, including minor rust spots. The fork includes all of the black epoxy cloisonné inlay. The spoon is missing 4 of the black squares.
Reed & Barton booklet specs are for reference only; not included in the sale.
