Richard Ginori Monteith Bowl and Matching Amphorae in Rappalo Pattern

Very rare and elegant set! Richard Ginori Monteith Bowl with 2 matching Amphorae. Features the discontinued Rapallo pattern motif: gold trimmed with pink ribbons, florals, and a swan. Bought in Italy in the early 1980s. A Monteith bowl is traditionally used for chilling wine glasses. The notched rim holds the glasses in place by the stem so that they rest gently in the ice. But my mother often used the set for flower arrangements, or simply as a centerpiece for our dining room table, letting their graceful shapes and patterns shine on their own.
