Beautifully framed artwork by Richard Brough. This one is number 6 in a series of famous Tuscaloosa, Alabama landmarks. Titled “The Tavern”. Print is approximately 8” x 13” - difficult to tell because of matting and frame. Frame is 18.25” x 13.25”. Ready to hang. Dr Brough spent 39 years teaching at the University of Alabama. Prior to that, he served in the US Air Force as an artist, and trained in Texas at the Witte Museum and in Paris at the La Grande Chamier. He was exhibited internationally with more than 100 one-man shows - from New York World Fair to the Far East as part of a traveling art exhibit of the US Information Agency. His illustrations appeared in American Artist Magazine, World Book Encyclopedia, and more than 200 of his watercolors in Ford Times Magazine.
