I wear a 32b, usually size small in tops, and it fit very comfortably with alternations. The velvet material is a bit stretchy so it is forgiving. I would say by the end of the night it was still staying up but it was not tight. I'm 5'6" and wore this with flat shoes and the hem was just above the floor. Worn once, like new!
