azurebluecanary I can't wait to see your boutique! I've thought a lot about doing retail, but the thought of all the bookkeeping/accounting that goes with it is daunting. I had a host based business at one time and struggled with that part. The ideal thing would be to have a bookkeeper. 💐

chicbirdie @sharsara I definitely recommend it as a posh tip! It gives my shoes more visibility than if I just had them listed as shoes; I try to work some purses in to my outfits sometimes too, but yesterday I was too busy!

chicbirdie @tweetygul make sure you have all the certifications and licenses you need from your state and a federal ID #, buy some stock and go for it! SCORE is a great resource for starting a business, and you can also google starting a small business in your state for the forms you'll need. ☺️ Keep records - taxes are a PAIN! 😂
