The silk side is a rich deep color and the cotton side is a soft warm brown. Unfortunately, my water bottle leaked a few drops on the silk side (one side only) causing a difference in color. After dry cleaning, it was still there. (See photos). The coverlet is reversible, so if the imperfection bothers you, reverse to the soft cotton brown color.
