Renaissance Revival Sterling Silver Vermeil Faux Pearl and Amethyst Glass Brooch

Dating anywhere from the 1960s to 1980s, may I offer this Medieval-Renaissance Revival Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) pin brooch featuring a very heavy yellow gold vermeil layer. Set with glass pearls of a cream nature, the center stone is a dark purple glass cab. Size of the pin is 1-5/16" high/wide; weight is 8 grams. Trombone tube catch to hold the pinstem in place; a bit difficult to figure out at first but once you get the hang of opening you will see that the catch is quite secure. Lovely design with no problems I can spot.
