Top photo is the day he came home. I was home a month before he was, so this was the first time we reconnected. Dad was in bliss.
As usual, we are holding on to each other.
I’m looking at my father, and Phil is looking at me. I only hope that, later in life, when Phil was looking at me, I was always looking at our Father in Heaven.
Phil, I miss you...always & forever. Tiss💕

What a beautiful yet sad ending story. Thank you for sharing! I’ve been very melancholy feeling today about my own & this just makes me realize the cycle of life and death & how it’s something many of us share in common.

I really love most the pic of you being pulled in wagon! I’m from same era & brings back cool memories!

@janus660 Yes! We grew up in a great time. Phil became a genius mechanic and loved classic American cars so he got an early start driving here I guess. If you have time go to About Me there should be a link to my tribute it’s funny! I think I’ve still got it up to my blog.

@annagarde I definitely will! Thanks again, you’re a sweetheart I know!
