danysfx OMG!! Sequence 😅 although I'm guilty of my own fair share of grammatical 'oopsies' (thanks to a migraine med called DOPAMAX, oops, Topamax 😁) this is HILARIOUS!! I have been through so many sequence's that I have started to question whether I'm really looking at fanciful gowns...or is it...am I...going back in time to my prom 20 years ago 😱 I'm not sure why, but this one has started to POP OUT at me. colorfuljessica @kliakunnn yeah, english spelling and grammar often makes no sense because it's such a mish-mash of other languages. But I think people, especially native speakers, get lazy and don't bother to check their spelling. I'm a writer, and I also edit for a living, so I can be a bit snooty about spelling and grammar. 😸

As an avid reader, a lifelong Scrabble addict and a mother who insisted on proper English (even here in the Deep South!), I am often amused, and dismayed, by some posts. Misspelling "sequins" with "sequence" appears to be fairly common. I just have to ask, being the anal OCD individual that I am, do the ladies who write these posts ever bother to read other posts where it's spelled correctly?? Enough ranting; leaving you with this post from last night that really tickled my grammar bone: "Sale! Deep blue velvet 'hills'".....😜

designertrash_ LOL I've probably made that mistake a few times with striped, although I am one lazy speller tisk tisk I use to get 100% on all of my spelling quizzes! If it weren't for spell check and dictionary on my computer I don't know where I would be....and sometimes that doesnt even save me ...shhh lets keep that between you and I! ;)

re_findthreads There are so many more opportunities for hilarious typos on regular buy sell pages. I don't know how many chest of draws and rod iron tables I have seen for sale. I had never seen the sequin thing until I came here. Every day. Seriously. I'm pretty annoying and hardcore about stuff like that. My family hates me.
