This antique 1898 year marked pewter tankard mug has a scroll pattern handle and a glass base. It's in great condition, but could use a light cleaning. The mug is 4 1/2" tall with a 4" wide base and weighs 1 lb. 4.7 ounces. It's marked "Reed & Barton" and monogrammed "WNEA." Reed & Barton was a prominent American silversmith manufacturer, operating from 1824 to 2015. They were known for their high-quality tableware, giftware, and weapons production, with a reputation for design excellence and craftsmanship.
