This very unique coat (a la Red Riding Hood, maybe?) was purchased at an alpaca farm gift shop, and I think it was manufactured in South America, maybe? There are no tags - it’s reversible, and is in very good used condition. Funky buttons! Lightweight and warm... it’s a great coat to wear doing errands, winter car trips, etc. not bulky, but quite warm. I always got lots of compliments on it!

catia1313 laying flat & closed, what is the measurement from armpit seam to armpit seam? Are you sure there is no tag inside of the pockets? Is this felted or knit? Thanks!

kamartin1116 @catia1313 Thanks for your interest in the coat! It is 23” from pit-to-pit. It is not a knit, nor is it felted, just soft! I can try to add a pic of it close-up?

catia1313 yes please on the close up pic and a pic of the reverse side is not shown-is there any moth damage/holes? Is it the same material? usually there s a small tag in one of the pockets

kamartin1116 @catia1313 I just added some pics. No tag that I could see. I did find an extra button in the pocket! The gray and red are the same fabric. I know what felted/boiled wool is and it is not that, and it is not a knit… somewhere in between maybe?

catia1313 are the pockets & design/stitching the same on the black side? Is the hood 3 pieces or 2-can't tell from the pics cuz when I enlarge it just blurs. I have something similar to this, but its black & brown-& it's alpaca & wool & like a fluffy light blanket material-kinda spun as opposed to actual rough felting-it's a coat but i use it as my winter robe -trying to see if it's similar fabric feel/density-hard to describe, but it's double faced but not 2 separate layers-does that describe?
