All sides of the canvas are painted and are art in and of themselves! This is a gorgeous painting that is hard to capture in photographs due to the gloss sealant applied to the entire canvas. The black is deep, dark black, darker than the photographs represent. I painted this piece for my own home but have changed the colors I'm using.
