Red Sparrow Book

Red Sparrow is a book written by Jason Matthews that follows the story of Dominika Egorova, a former Russian ballerina who is forced to undergo espionage training for the Russian government at the Sparrow School, where people are trained to seduce their targets. In the book, Dominika is sent by Russia to seduce a CIA officer named Nate, and they have an intimate affair that jeopardizes both of their careers as well as those around them. The book is set in present-day Russia, ruled by President Vladimir Putin.
